General Rules (1)

(1.1) Swearing
Due to the fact that I regularly use the word "fuck" we're pretty loose about cursing here...

(1.2) Flaming
Flaming is the act of verbally abusing someone. Often cases contain swear words and other inappropriate actions. Flaming is not tolerated and could cause you to be banned. Never flame. Period. There may be some topics which are a heated debate and you may lose yourself to adrenaline, but please, control yourself.

(1.3) Advertising
There is to be no advertising on Spammers Unite of the following; pornographic material (incl. hentai), wares, other boards (without administrator approval) and finally inappropriate material. This rule includes private messaging, signatures and obviously threads.

(1.4) Pictures
Spammers Unite doesn't condone of pictures of a pornographic, racist, violent/gory or otherwise graphic or offensive nature, including those posted, referenced or linked to in topics, signatures, private messages, etc. Any pictures which are will be removed and the user will be punished.


Content Rules (2)

(2.1) Post-Length
All posts must be of a decent length and quality, any posts or threads which do not meet a simple level of spelling, grammar, and decent content will be removed. In the RP Section, this will be inforced RUTHLESSLY. The only section that does not have this requirement is Teh Spam.

(2.2) Respect
You must respect the staff, administration and fellow members. We will frown upon people being bullied, stalked, or any other inappropriate actions. Any serious incidents may result in a lifetime ban from the website.

(2.3) Miscellaneous
Hot subjects must remain respectful and extremely close to the topic otherwise they will be locked. Hot topics include; Sex, Religion, Race and other such things.


Miscellaneous Rules (3)

(3.1) Multi-Accounts
No multiple accounts are allowed. If you are found with 2 or more accounts all accounts excluding the primary account will be deleted. The primary will suffer a temp ban.

(3.2) The Ban Patrol Rules
Members of The Ban Patrol have more privileges than a normal community member, but this does not exclude you from the forum rules. You must not abuse your powers to make things harder for a particular member, even if you take a disliking to them. You will most likely loose your position if you are found out to be doing this. All complaints against a member of The Ban Patrol will be looked into.

(3.3) Plagiarism
Plagiarism is looked down upon extremely here at Spammers Unite. Any member found stealing artwork, posts or any other intellectual/artistic property will be harshly punished. You may however showcase peoples work if they allow it, of if they have deemed it fit for public distribution.

(3.4) Additional
Never ask to be a member of The Ban Patrol or The Big Cheeses. You are here to enjoy the forum, not to run them. We will decide if there is a need for additional Ban Patrol or Big Cheeses and we will inform any member who we wish to take up the position. If there is a Ban Patrol position available we may open up application at which time we will ask people to answer a few questions and we will decide from all entries as to who we think will be a good addition to the staff. Finally, Big Cheeses have the final say on any public decision.

(3.5) Refusal of Service
We the administrators of Spammers Unite are offering a service free of charge, we may at anytime revoke a members rights to said service without warning or reason. Thank you.

Punishments (4)

There is a typical procedure for punishments in this community and we usually punish in accordance with the following structure. In some extreme cases we may skip sections of our structure and enforce a harder punishment.

(4.1) Privilege-Removal
Privilege removal will consist of not being allowed to send Private messages, and you will not have a signature image.

(4.2) Probation
Probation is the next stage; you will not be allowed to send Private messages, you will not have a signature image, and also your user status will have “probation” in it. A probation lasts for one at least one month, if you break any additional rules in this time period you will progress to the next stage.

(4.3) Temporary-ban
If you continue to be a problem you will suffer a temporary ban, this will last one week. You will then be allowed back to Spammers Unite with a fresh start. No posts.

(4.4) Permanent-ban
Any problems from you after a temporary ban will result in a total ban from the website. Everything will be deleted (no chance of you getting your account back). You IP address will be blocked, your email account will be banned.

As with real-life rules and regulations (laws, if you will) ignorance is no excuse, if you try to claim that you did not know the rules you will not be excused from the punishments.

These rules may be added to at any point, so please keep checking them on the odd occasion.
